Terms and Conditions of Aix eBike & Guide
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. They outline the basis on which bookings are accepted by Aix eBike & Guide and the conditions governing the agreement between you and Aix eBike & Guide.
1. RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
2. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
All cancellations must be made through the platform where the booking was made.
Our cancellation fee policy is as follows:
- If cancellation is made 2 or more days before the tour begins: 100% of the tour price will be refunded.
- No refunds will be provided if cancellation occurs within 48 hours before the tour begins or after the tour has started.
Aix eBike & Guide reserves the right to cancel a tour at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion, including but not limited to insufficient participants, or if the quality of the tour or the safety of participants is compromised. In the case of cancellation, any payments made will be refunded, minus any commissions due to booking agents. Aix eBike & Guide is not responsible for any losses incurred as a result of cancellations, and participants waive the right to claim damages.
3. EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Aix eBike & Guide does not accept liability for injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses, or inconvenience caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to war, civil disturbances, fire, floods, acts of God, actions of government or other authorities, accidents, machinery or equipment failures, or industrial actions.
4. TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers all aspects of the tour, including medical, dental, hospital, and emergency expenses, accidental death, cancellation of the trip, loss of personal belongings, third-party liability, and damage or loss related to the use of rental bicycles.
5. RESPONSIBILITY
Aix eBike & Guide, its agents, employees, and representatives are not responsible for personal injuries, property damage, loss, or delays incurred by any participant during the tour. Participants take part in the tour at their own risk and agree not to hold Aix eBike & Guide or its employees liable for injury or death resulting from accidents.
6. BICYCLES
By booking a tour, participants confirm that they are in suitable physical and mental condition to participate in the activities involved. Cycling is a potentially dangerous activity and is undertaken entirely at the participant’s own risk.
The bicycles provided during the tours are in satisfactory operating condition. Participants agree to use them at their own risk and to notify Aix eBike & Guide of any defects immediately. Participants are required to wear helmets while cycling. You are responsible for any damage to the bicycle during your use. You agree not to misuse the bike and to return it in the same condition as it was provided (normal wear and tear excepted). If the bike is stolen, lost, or damaged during the tour, you will be charged the full replacement cost or the cost of repairs.
